Macarons seem to be the up-and-coming treat in Tokyo. Of course, not just regular macrons, but extra fancy kinds.
I found this place in Shin-Okubo, also known as the centre of Korean pop culture in Tokyo. It was “line-up” popular, even a short time before emergency closing time of 8PM
Various berry flavours for me. The Oreo macarons were especially popular, though.
Tokyo is still wavering between “please stay home” and “please support businesses.” I split the difference and ordered takeaway. They were surprisingly hearty.
