I say chocolate chips, but they're strangely hard to find, so I chop up chocolate bars. Very light and fluffy, and not too sweet.
It's been so long, and it isn't quite the same as I remember. Maybe it really needs the oats? Still, very good. Shouldn't-have-made-it-because-I'm-going-to-eat-it-all good.
I'm going to declare this a victory because while they may not be perfectly shaped, they taste really good. I usually buy them in bakeries or convenience stores, where they're "スイートポテト" (literally "sweet potato" in Japanese) but they're a sweetened, baked pastry.
