A few years ago Tokyo had an actual big snow. Big enough to stick around. I wish I'd had the time to go out more, but of course the trains were haywire.
I don't miss long winters and deep snow, but I do miss a little snow. So far I woke up to a tiny little dusting this year, and I doubt we'll see more. I'm not looking forward to another blindingly hot summer, either.

Typhoons don't usually have a lot of power by the time they hit Tokyo. Usually they're just strong enough to make commuting annoying. And they also make it very hot and humid. 30C in October is horrible. It shouldn't be allowed, I tell you.
