I’ve been trying to learn how to properly cook beef. By properly, I mean to my taste. I don’t like super rare beef, nor well-done. Slightly rarer than medium rare? Also within my means, since I don’t exactly have the finest cuts, and I have a single gas burner and a cheap frying pan.
For me, I think I did a good job today.
It’s nicely pink inside without that fleshy feel that means it’s undercooked (again, to me, since people seem to have Strong Feelings about steak). It was nicely seasoned, too.
Four minutes, it seems, with butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and ginger. I’ll try again soon to test!
