It feels odd not to have something to post on Monday. Shiftless, maybe. I’m shiftless.
Here’s the thing: WordPress is so eager to tell you all the information that I know, more or less, exactly how many people read what you post. And that is beautiful and brutal, the same way that Amazon and Wattpad and Goodreads are.
Nobody wants to know all that, because then you know. Applying metrics to dreams is awful. It just is. But you gotta, so they say. You gotta know.
But there are, maybe, ten people? Or so, who maybe like what I do. It makes Monday slightly less cold.
So thank you to everyone who makes Monday less cold.
