I’m not an adventurous cook when I’m coming home after work. Some days it’s bento, I admit. But chicken in the oven range is easy enough if I’ve remembered to take some out. My mother’s seasoned salt, garlic powder, and pepper starts to get a little boring, so I went searching and tinkered a bit and found my go-to. When I’m tired and in need of protein it’s chicken drumettes and this spice mix. (Is drumette not an official word? Because it’s labeled a typo, but that’s what we’ve always used, and I see it everywhere.)
This batch doesn’t seem as dark a red as the last one, but the proof will be in the cooking. 🙂
